What's Included in Next Time Around Birth Support/Doula Services by Nurture Natal®

Prenatal Care & Education:​

• The comprehensive, evidence and physiology based  Refresher Workshop by Nurture Natal®, (a 2-3 hour private in-home workshop)
• On-call virtual support and advice throughout your pregnancy.
• Guidance in the design of a strong, effective birth preference outline.​​
• Individually curated pregnancy, birth and postpartum information and resources.

Birth Process: (labor and delivery)

• Guaranteed on-call availability during your birth month, (2 weeks prior to your "guess date" and 2 weeks after your "guess date". (Normal human gestation is anywhere from 38-42 weeks.)
• Continuous emotional and physical support throughout your birth process and immediate postpartum-  at home and/or at hospital/birth center
• Advocacy so that you may give birth the way you choose.
• ​Photography/Videography: Birth process and "golden hour" (meeting your baby for the first time) photos and videos. 
• Massage and other natural pain relief /comfort measures throughout your birth process.
• TENS machine use (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) machine- at no additional cost​​
• Guidance for birth process positioning and movement to provide comfort, encourage optimal fetal positioning and facilitate a smooth and flowing birth. 
• Creation of an environment that supports the safety, comfort and well being of you and your baby during your birth process.​
• For Home Water Births: Birth Pool Rental (Birth Pool in a Box Eco Mini) including: single use pool liner; 50' hose; tap adaptor; water pump; air pump; tarp. Additional cost: $150​

Postpartum Care:

• One in-home postpartum visit within the first few days after you give birth. It usually includes:  a"birth debrief" (an opportunity to discuss your birth process and answer any questions you may have), an emotional wellness check, and basic lactation/breastfeeding support. ​
• Virtual postpartum support up to 4 weeks after your birth.
