Thank you for visiting my website. Here’s a little about me…
I’m the founder of Nurture Natal®, a certified birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator, and Yoga Alliance–certified E-RYT 200 and RPYT instructor specializing in prenatal and postnatal yoga. As a mother of two grown children, a wife to my husband of 37 years (and counting), and a soon-to-be grandmother, I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to my work. I believe pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood are powerful, transformative experiences—unique to every family. My approach to birth work is grounded in physiology and evidence-based care, creating a calm, supportive space where families feel informed, confident, and nurtured. In addition to supporting births and teaching yoga, I lead the Little Learners class at Modern Milk. Each class fosters early childhood development through connection, play, and meaningful caregiver-child interaction. Many Arizona families know me as “Miss Brenlie”. With an extensive education in music, (vocal performance), from 2000-2018, I served the Scottsdale community with the longest-running early childhood musical learning program: Kindermusik in Scottsdale I had the great privilege of teaching music and movement to nearly 1,000 caregivers and little ones! To this day, I am often warmly greeted as “Miss Brenlie”…and I love it! Lastly, I am very proud of the work I’ve done through my long standing private voice studio: Art of Song Voice Studio. I’ve had the great honor of guiding and inspiring many young vocalists and several of my students have gone on to pursue their own careers in music! My musical foundations continue to inform my work, as I weave music into almost everything I do! When I’m not welcoming new souls into the world or teaching, you’ll find me on my own yoga mat or biking, walking my sweet pup, traveling, cooking and baking…all while singing a tune! 🎵 That’s me! |
